Countdown to vacation
It won’t be long now. This Sunday, we’ll be flying off to Vegas for a much-needed week of vacationing. In preparation, I’ve been blitzing on every task on my to-do list trying to get it a little clearer.
- Jim pointed me to today’s moment of zen by John Perry Barlow: an essay expounding upon Chuang-Tzu’s statement that “Happiness is the absence of the striving for happiness.” It reminds me of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and that all-important quest for self-actualization. (Okay, how many hyphenated phrases can I use in one post?)
- On a much shallower note, Strong Bad and Co. are taking a sick day.
